Protect Plants and Shrubs in the Winter Using Burlap in 2 Easy Steps

Hi guys, Mike Bedell here, and today I want to share some tips on protecting plants in the winter using Burlap and other protective options.

Now that we're into December, and the cold weather is really kicking in, you want to make sure that you're protecting the plants that need it, and I find Burlap is perfect for this.

As you can see in the video, I'm looking to protect some boxwoods, and to do this I'm making sure I stake them first so I can wrap the Burlap round them, ready for stapling.

Plants and shrubs are susceptible to winter burn, and that's one of the main reasons we want to protect them, especially on commercial properties where appearance needs to be 100% year round.
