How to Grease the Flex Cable in Your Trimmer in 7 Quick Steps
April 9, 2020
Hey guys, Danny Lanier here, and today I want to talk about a quick tip on greasing the flex cable in your trimmer.
This needs to be done every 50 hours of use, so it's important you're doing this when it's due.
As you can see by the video, it's a really easy process.
-
Twist the head a little, and pull the flex cable out
-
You'll see old, built-up grease in there
-
Wipe that area clean with an old rag as you pull out the flex cable
-
Get the new grease ready (I use 15ml of ECHO Red Armor)
-
Pull the flex cable out, and start lubing it up
-
Slide the cable back in, while continuing to lube some more
-
Twist the cable in to make sure it fits properly
Like I mention, you should be doing this every 50 hours of use to keep the flex cable maintained.
How about you, guys - what tips do you have for maintaining your trimmers?
