June 14, 2017
As part of the ECHO UAG community we decided to ask some of our experts about what is their best tactic to drive your landscaping business. What are some things to remember, some financial advice and of course how to get customers. Here is what three of our expert members had to say.Referral Marketing
Brain Fullerton – Brian’s Lawn Maintenance
The most successful tactics that we have employed marketing wise to get new clients, it's always going to be referral marketing, word of mouth business. Obviously, when you're doing quality work and you do what you said you're going to do at a fair price, and you do quality work, that name is going to get out, and after 10 years, obviously, it's compounded. Every neighbor and their brother that are in the subs that we work in, they just recommend us.
Direct Mails
Johny Crooks – Blades Of Grass Lawn Care
Number one is every door, direct mail. Any time we service one property, we hit five homes in the radius, and I know just by looking at the map and where they're going, I know exactly how much those homes cost. That we do every time. It doesn't matter if they already have a lawn care provider. It doesn't matter if they're doing their own lawn. I don't care. We put it not on their door. We put it right there on the slip of the door or we put it right there on the mat. This way, they come out and they see it. They pick it up. It works extremely well.
